You see, if you use Gmail or another similar service, your email provider may think that these newsletters are unsolicited. They don’t know that you subscribed, and therefore actually want to see this. I have learned that if you simply reply to this, even with just a simple “hello,” your provider is much less likely to send us into the bin reserved for amazing offers. More importantly for Gmail users, it will keep us from just winding up in your Promotions tab where you may also miss these missives.
