I just had to share an Extra issue of King’s Chronicles.
I’m usually the host of a podcast (if you didn’t know that, you should check it out—it’s a great support for your own journey). But recently I had the privilege of being a guest on two podcasts within about a week of each other, both of them hosted by people I tend to fanboy over. Both have graced me as guests on The Alignment Show, and so appearing as a guest on their shows wowed me.
Ink in Your Veins
Rachael Herron has a long-running podcast for writers that she recently renamed as Ink in Your Veins: How Writers Actually Write (and how you can, too). (Evidence of long-running: I appeared on episode 439.) Rachael writes in multiple genres, and I love her voice (both literal and authorly). You can view the video version here and listen to the audio version here. (Check out Rachael’s episode on The Alignment Show and stay tuned for another in June.)
Stark Reflections
Another impressively long-lived podcast comes from Mark Leslie Lefebvre’s Stark Reflections. (How long? My episode is number 358.) You can find several ways of getting to the episode here. (Check out Mark’s episode on The Alignment Show.)
Both great shows
On both of these, the hosts dug into both the writing process and the context for my books. Since at least one survey suggests that 81 percent of people would like to write a book (but fewer than 15 percent ever even start, and only 3 percent finish one), there’s a really good chance you would find inspiration in both of the podcasts. Look for "Ink in Your Veins” and “Stark Reflections” in your favorite podcatcher. I hope a few of you find the episodes I have linked worth your consideration.
