Creating While Caring Is Out!
Keep creating, even when caregiving takes everything you’ve got
It’s finally here. My new book, Creating While Caring, is out in the world.
For the next couple of weeks, it’s available exclusively in my store—and to celebrate, I’ve put all my ebooks on sale for 50% off, including this brand-new one. The sale runs through the rest of September, and on October 1 the book will roll out more widely. (But if you just want to look at the new book, you can find it here.)
So what’s this one about?
If you’ve ever tried to hold onto your writing, art, or other creative work while also caring for a loved one, you already know the struggle: exhaustion, interruptions, guilt, and the quiet fear that your creativity might be slipping away.
This isn’t another book about color-coded calendars or productivity hacks. I wrote it because I couldn’t find anything that spoke to the messy, unpredictable, deeply human reality of caregiving life.
In Creating While Caring, I share some of the strategies and encouragement that have helped me keep writing and creating through years of nearly full-time caregiving. Things like:
How to protect small but vital pockets of creative time
How to reframe guilt and fight the myth that creativity is selfish
Simple tools to keep momentum alive, even in chaos
Encouragement for when the well feels dry and the burden too heavy
Mostly, though, it’s about hope—the kind that reminds you your creativity and your caregiving can not only coexist, but actually feed each other.
Because your creativity deserves care, too.
👉 You can find the book (and the rest of my ebooks, all half price through Sept. 30) right here.
Share this with a friend or relative who could benefit from this. If you know a caregiver, it could be the boost they need.
If you’re already a subscriber, you may want to tweak your settings to only receive the material that interests you.

Interesting cover. Sometimes I feel my pen needs to be hooked up intravenously.
