Big News: The Alignment Show Is Joining King’s Chronicles
You’re about to hear from me in a new way
This is a short but important note about a new addition to King’s Chronicles and how you can easily customize what you receive.
Dear friends,
Over the past years, King’s Chronicles has focused on the written word: reflections on communication, creativity, writing, and how we stay aligned with our values. That won’t change.
But starting this week, you’ll also begin seeing occasional posts from The Alignment Show, a podcast I host that explores many of the same themes we’ve discussed here, through conversation instead of essays.
The Alignment Show features solo insights and thoughtful interviews with guests who’ve made hard pivots, rediscovered their purpose, or wrestled through realignment in the messiness of real life.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, wonderful! You're already subscribed and don’t need to do anything.
If you'd prefer not to receive podcast posts, you can unsubscribe from just that type of post without unsubscribing from the whole newsletter. Here’s how:
✂️ How to Opt Out of Podcast Posts Only
At the bottom of any email labeled The Alignment Show, you’ll see this line:
“You can unsubscribe from this type of post.”
Click that link, and you’ll stop getting podcast-related emails, while still receiving everything else from King’s Chronicles.
(It’ll be a small gray link below the body of the email.)
💡 Why I'm Merging It All Here
Until now, The Alignment Show lived on its own separate Substack. But maintaining two platforms split my focus and my audience. Many of you enjoy both my writing and my podcasting, so I’ve decided to bring everything under one roof. (Several of you are subscribed to both Substacks. Going forward, you’ll only receive emails from this Substack (King’s Chronicles/The Alignment Show), unless I mess something up.)
That means more consistent content, richer conversations, and a single home for people who want to explore what it means to live with courage, creativity, and clarity.
Thanks for continuing to walk this path with me.
Warmly,
Donn
